Between 2012 and 2014, Sacyr Ingeniería e Infraestructuras, through Sacyr Somague, carried out construction of the new container terminal in the port of Lomé, located in the southwest of the country.

These works expanded the port's dimensions in order to receive vessels with capacity of 11,300 TEU, a length of 363 m and a draft of 15 m. It has a storage area prepared to receive full containers stacked 6 high.
