Nomex® plant – New spinning unit

This new unit has been built as an extension to the existing Nomex® plant.
Consisting of six spinning cells, it processes 12 continuous Nomex® yarn lines with 1,200 or 1,600 deniers. This type of Nomex® yarn production uses unique technology that is employed in only two plants worldwide: Spruance and Asturias.
Due to changes in the customer's strategic plan, the project was executed in two phases. Construction was completed in 2020 without incident, and the plant is currently operational.
