Low-carbon aluminum plant in Guadalajara
A new, state-of-the-art aluminum recycling plant is being built in Torija, Guadalajara.
With an annual production capacity of 120,000 tons of recycled aluminum, the new facility will be capable of processing up to 70,000 tons of post-consumer scrap per year. This will enable the supply of low-emission recycled products to key European sectors, including transportation, automotive, construction, and renewable energy installations.
Construction of this plant contributes to the decarbonization of the aluminum industry.
Production is expected to begin in 2026.
