Mozambique

Somague Moçambique is the company owned by Somague Engenharia for the Mozambique market.

Somague's presence in Mozambique goes back to the 1950s, taking part in such emblematic works as the Limpopo River Bridge (1953), and the Beira Port Extension (1960). More recently, since 1996, Somague has undertaken several projects in the area of civil engineering in various parts of the country, such as Maputo, Beira, Chimoio, Mutarara and Espungabera.

With the award of the contract to renovate 580 km of the Nacala Corridor, Somague Mozambique aims to reassert its position as a leader in the construction market, both in the execution of railway, maritime and dam works, and in the execution of building works, thus taking an active part Mozambique's development.
