Sacyr Infraestructuras has operated in Italy since 2003 through its subsidiary SIS ScPA.
Strongly established in the country, SIS SCpA is ranked as the 6th construction company by turnover in the Italian domestic market, according to the latest published ranking, and is currently carrying out the highest-investment road infrastructure project of the last 10 years in Italy (the Autostrada Pedemontana-Veneta motorway).SIS SCpA is also present in the Italian toll concession market, having received the Project Finance International 2017 award in the category of best European operation in the field of transport infrastructure for securing financing of the "Autostrada Pedemontana-Veneta" motorway project.
