Increase in Dahshour Gas Compression (Energy Efficiency)

The Dahshour gas compression station project involves expanding the capacity of the station by 50% for GASCO in Egypt.

The project incorporates technology that recovers waste heat and generates electricity, thereby reducing CO₂ emissions.

The energy generated will be used to power the station itself, thereby improving its efficiency. This initiative is part of the EBRD's 'Green Economy Transition' programme.

The programme aims to promote a more sustainable energy model in Egypt.
