Sacyr Proyecta

Sacyr Proyecta, formerly known as Sacyr Fluor, was created through a merger between two of the most prestigious companies in the engineering and construction sectors, Sacyr and Fluor Corporation.

Sacyr is an international company with over 30 years’ experience in different areas of business: construction, P3, services, and industry.

Fluor Corporation is a global leader with more than 100 years’ experience providing engineering, procurement, and project management services, as well as executing EPC turnkey projects for international firms in different industries around the world.

Having launched its operations in Spain in the 1980s, in 1992 Sacyr Fluor set up a permanent office in Llanera, Asturias, and unveiled its own building in the area in 1999. In 2002, Fluor España opened its first office in Madrid. 

In 2006, Fluor, S.A. was awarded the largest P3 investment project in Spain by Repsol to expand its C-10 Cartagena refinery. 

In 2015, we joined forces, combining the engineering experience of Fluor España with Sacyr’s expertise in construction to create Sacyr Fluor.

In 2020, Sacyr became the sole shareholder of SacyrFluor, which then became the group’s specialist oil and gas industrial engineering division. 

In 2023, Sacyr Fluor will be renamed Sacyr Proyecta

Currently, Sacyr Proyecta has two main offices in Spain - in Asturias and Madrid - which execute projects for different industries: upstream, liquefied natural gas (LNG), refinement, energy generation, chemicals and petrochemicals, and industrial plants. Its activities encompass engineering, procurement, construction,  manufacturing, commissioning, and maintenance services.

Sacyr Proyecta has extensive experience developing national and international projects in countries such as Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Lithuania, Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Malaysia, and North Africa.
